What can go in a dumpster?
Most household and construction debris is fine. A few things can't go in, and a few cost extra.
Accepted
- Household junk and furniture
- Remodel and construction debris
- Drywall, lumber, and trim
- Carpet, pad, and flooring
- Roofing shingles
- Yard waste, branches, and brush
- Appliances without Freon (washers, dryers, stoves)
- Cabinets, countertops, fixtures
Accepted for an extra fee
- Tires
- Mattresses and box springs
- A/C units, refrigerators, and freezers (Freon)
Let us know when you book so we can price them.
Not allowed
- Hazardous materials
- Liquids — paint, oil, chemicals
- Batteries
- Radioactive, explosive, or flammable materials
- Sewage sludge
Prohibited items found in a load may be removed and returned, or charged for special disposal.
Heavy materials
Concrete, brick, dirt, rock, and tile are very heavy. They can reach the weight allowance well before the bin looks full. Get in touch before booking a load of heavy material so we can recommend the right setup.
