Our rental terms, in plain English

Payment

Payment is required at the time of booking. We accept credit and debit cards. We keep your card on file for any additional charges listed below, and we'll tell you what any charge is for.

What's included

Every price includes delivery, pickup, and disposal at a local transfer station, plus the weight allowance for your size:

• 6 Yard: ½ ton, rentals up to 3 days at the listed price
• 10 Yard: 1 ton, rentals up to 7 days at the listed price
• 15 Yard: 1.5 tons, rentals up to 7 days at the listed price
• 20 Yard: 2 tons, rentals up to 7 days at the listed price
• 30 Yard: 3 tons, rentals up to 10 days at the listed price

Rental period and extensions

Your rental runs from the delivery date to the pickup date you choose. Need it longer? Text or email us to extend at $20 per extra day. Done early? Text or email us and we'll pick it up sooner. For same-day swaps or pickups, please call at least 4 hours in advance.

Weight

Each size includes a weight allowance. If you go over, it's $100 per ton, prorated. We'll let you know the final weight after pickup. Maximum weight limits apply to prevent overloading.

Items not allowed

• Hazardous materials
• Liquids — paint, oil, chemicals
• Batteries
• Radioactive, explosive, or flammable materials
• Sewage sludge

If you're unsure about an item, ask us before you toss it.

Items with an added fee

• Car tire: $75 each
• Truck tire: $150 each
• A/C unit: $75 each
• Refrigerator or freezer: $150 each
• Mattress or box spring: call for price

Other fees

• Dry run due to blocked access (we can't reach the drop or pickup spot): $125
• Frozen dumpster scraping: $90

Placement

You don't need to be home for delivery — just tell us where you'd like the dumpster placed, and we'll call when we're on our way. Please choose a spot you have permission to use, with room for our truck and no low wires or branches. Keep the dumpster filled no higher than its top edge. If the dumpster will sit on a public street or sidewalk, a City of Longmont right-of-way permit may be required.

Changes and cancellations

To change a date or cancel, email hello@longmontdumpster.com. If you cancel before the dumpster leaves our yard, we'll refund your payment in full.
